Russian Footage Shows Artillery Strikes Against Ukrainian Naval Vessel

Drone footage released by the Russian Ministry of Defense shows a series of artillery strikes being carried out against the Ukrainian Naval Vessel Vinnitsa. They allegedly sunk the ship.

According to Russian sources, a decommissioned former corvette of the Ukrainian Navy called the Vinnitsa was sunk in Ochakov near the pier. The corvette "Vinnitsa" is a former Soviet border patrol ship "Dnepr" of project 1124P (it was in service since 1976), which went to Ukraine in 1992 and in 1996 transferred to the Navy, where it became the corvette U 206 "Vinnitsa".

The footage from the Russian Ministry of Defense however does not show the ship being sunk, and earlier reports from Russia this exact naval vessel was captured by Russian forces several months ago.
