Russian Fighter Jets Barely Dodge Missile Attack

Footage released by Ukrainian sources shows an operation conducted in an attempt to take down a pair of what is believed to be Russian Su-25s. The fighter jets just narrowly avoid being shot down.

According to the source of this footage, the pair of Su-25s had just narrowly avoided being swatted down by these MANPAD systems. The flare systems were deployed and managed to stop the missiles from making contact with the jets, which also afforded them the opportunity to get out of range.

While we can't tell for sure what platform the Russians are flying due to the extreme range of the video, it appears as if the Ukrainians are using a combination of IGLA manpads and Stinger Missiles.
