Footage from Nov. 23, 2022 shows a double Russian cruise missile strike on Kiev. Crater assessment was conducted by the Conflict Armament Research team and based on remnants of the munitions they were able to identify them as Kh-101 cruise missiles. Interestingly, they were also able to determine that the missiles had been built in the latter half of 2022, using some critical Western components.

Based on their findings, they concluded that Russia may have stockpiled components prior to sanctions, or that the sanction are ineffective against Russia’s supply chains. It's also possible that Russia is using parallel shadow acquisition networks for missile components.
