Russian BTR Suppressing Ukrainian Position in Donbas

Footage recorded by Russian troops in the Donbas region shows a Russian BTR suppressing Ukrainian positions. BTRs continue to perform far better than expected for the Russian forces.

Out of all the Russian armor we've seen in the Ukraine-Russia conflict, the BTR has to be the one we've seen destroyed the least. We have certainly seen a good number of them on the side of the road absolutely shredded, but when put next to the rest of the Russian armor we've seen operating in Ukraine, it's clearly been one of the more survivable platforms. This is likely due to the BTR having a lower priority on the kill chain than Russian Main Battle Tanks, but it stands to reason that the BTRs higher maneuverability and ability to transport its own protective infantry troops has been a key reason for the vehicles limited success.
