Russia Drops Massive Bomb On Avdiivka

The Russian Ministry of Defense released thermal footage in which they claim shows the recent dropping of a FAB-500 M-62 bomb on Avdiivka, a city in eastern Ukraine's Donetsk region.

The FAB-500 nomenclature indicates the size of the bomb in kilograms, so this is approximately a 1,100 pound bomb. The munition is dropped by aircraft, so if this incident is authentic as Russia claims, it would mean that Ukraine is lacking in air defense systems in the area.
