An armed mugging in Mexico doesn't go as planned for the thief, as his selected victim rapidly draws a firearm and engages his attacker.

From the video it appears the man getting robbed hit his attacker at close range. It is possible that the mugger was wearing body armor as he appears bulky, or perhaps his adrenaline allowed him to shrug off the shot, at least temporarily.

Incredibly, the mugger fires back as he is running away and manages to shoot the man in the hand or arm, which results in rapid blood loss. The now injured man must apply a tourniquet and seek immediate medical attention.
