Road Rage Incident Turns Into Intense Shooting

Viral dashcam footage surfacing everywhere the past few days, shows an intense road rage situation that led to a terrifying shooting incident.


On June 21st, 2021, at approximately 7 a.m., the driver, later identified as Eric Popper was traveling southbound on Interstate-95, FL, when he reportedly cut off a fellow driver. During that time, the secondary driver began honking their horn out of frustration at Popper. As shown in the footage, Popper immediately treats the driver as a hostile threat, and begins drawing his firearm from the center console.


Official statements have stated that as the secondary vehicle approached the passenger side of Popper's vehicle, an object that appeared as a firearm was in the drivers hand. In response, Popper is observed firing eleven shots through his windows at the vehicle driving by.


At the time of this writing, sources have indicated the object resembling a firearm was that of a water bottle. Popper has since posted bail; however is facing multiple felony charges. His upcoming court date will be in April of 2022. We will have more to follow on this story when the time comes.
