Results of Trebuchet Fire Bombs Against Lebanon

Cell phone footage recorded the surveillance systems that are aimed towards Lebanon where Hezbollah has been launching attacks towards Israel captures the results of yesterday's video showing Israeli troops lobbing firebombs with a trebuchet.

While there was a lot of controversy surrounding that video yesterday across multiple social media platforms, the objective was indeed not to just randomly throw firebombs at Lebanon, but instead to deny cover and concealment for Hezbollah forces through a massive uncontrolled burn of the terrain.

This activity denies Hezbollah freedom of movement in the area, and opens up clear firing lanes should the group attempt to infiltrate closer to Israeli positions. It will also have the side effect of burning any weapons caches that the group may have in the region as well.
