A rare video of the Australian Army in combat takes place in the Miribad Valley of Uruzgan Province, Afghanistan.

In the footage Australian Defense Force and British Specialists are conducting a PsyOps patrol when they are ambushed by Taliban fighters, and they respond aggressively. Smoke is used to mark the location for LAV fire support, and the Taliban firing positions are heavily pounded by 25mm LAV fire.
