Due to the nature of this post, not much information is readily available. Generally speaking Army and Marine Corps Psychological Operations aren't advertised or projected very much or very far. There's only a few things that we can guess about this video, and that's A: These guys are somewhere in Iraq judging by the terrain, and B: The bad guys are most likely members of Al Qaeda in Iraq.

The purpose of Psychological Operations is to convey a specific message to an enemy force. In this case, the message the Psyops team is trying to convey is one of fear. These are vital operations that have been played out in almost every major war that the United States has taken part in, and is has always been a contributing factor towards completing the mission.

While this particular Psyop is being used to convey the message of fear, there are a number of different operations that can be conducted by Psyops Soldiers and Marines. Those range from winning local support, convincing insurgent factions to surrender their position, and even dropping flyers into areas to convince civilians to leave to minimize civilian casualties.
