A private out on what appears to be a land navigation course gets caught sleeping by his Drill Sergeant. Watch in horror as he tries to lie his way out of the situation.

If there's one thing that I learned while being a Private, it's that you don't lie to the guys with three stripes up. If there's one thing I absolutely hates as a guy with three stripes up, it was having a private lie to me. If you get caught sleeping, just admit it and take your lashings. Every lie you tell after being caught will only dig your trench a bit deeper, and make the situation worse.
