PKK Kurds Down Two Turkish Drones In Ten Days

This footage, provided by a Kurdish media outlet, shows two Turkish military drones being shot down within a ten-day period over the Kurdistan region of Iraq. The footage also includes imagery of the wreckage, in order to confirm the shoot-downs.

The two drones appear to be Aksungar and Anka-S models, respectively. While the Aksungar appears to be configured for recon and intelligence-gathering, of particular note is the Anka-S. Analysis of its wreckage has confirmed that it was carrying MAM-L smart munitions, which in turn suggests that the PKK were able to turn the tables on an inbound strike package. This represents a significant win for the Kurds, as Turkiye/Turkey has been historically been able to drone strike YPG and PKK elements with relative impunity, an ability for which the Kurdish militants have had little answer.
