A video from the 2017 battle for Marawi shows Philippines Scout Rangers extracting fellow comrades pinned down by ISIS-affiliated forces.

The friendly troops were cut off on the second floor of an insurgent-occupied building. The enemy forces were on the ground floor and in neighboring buildings. The Scout Rangers drove an armored M113 troop transport vehicle to the side of the building so the besieged troops could be rescued.
