Video released to Twitter by bystanders in Jenin shows Palestinian gunmen using a civilian ambulance as cover while they engage with Israeli forces.

Unfortunately, using civilians and emergency services as cover is not a new tactic for Palestinian insurgents. This gunfight was recorded as IDF troops were moving in to Jenin to conduct an operation against the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigade. Two members of the group, including Dr. Abdallah Abu al Teen, were killed during the operation however it's unclear if the Palestinians or the IDF are responsible for the death of al Teen.
