Wild GoPro footage released by Ukrainian sources conducting combat operations near Bakhmut shows an intense and chaotic close range gunfight with Russian forces. At several points, the Ukrainian troops almost kill each other in their fervor to clear out the trench.

First and foremost, we're fairly certain that this footage was recorded near Bakhmut. Our key hints at the location are first the source, who has exclusively been releasing Bakhmut related content to his Telegram feed, and second is the weather. Bakhmut has recently been hit by a cold snap which put several inches of snow on the ground in that area over the last week, this video coincides with that weather pattern pretty well.

Outside of that, this video is just plain wild. At around :30 seconds into the video you can see one of the Russian Soldiers in the trench line being clipped by small arms fire, then the Ukrainians start dumping grenades into the trench. It's important to note that several of the Ukrainians aren't even wearing helmets, and they seem to have absolute trust in each other's ability to not commit fratricide as they're shooting within inches of each other at several points.

It's also worth noting that we did not add the music to this video. It came directly from the source. I would have removed the sound from the video, but there's enough actual raw combat noise in this video to justify leaving the sound in tact.
