Footage accumulated from a two-day counter assault by the Ukrainian 3rd Separate Brigade of the Azov Tactical Group shows Russian forces on the southwest flank of Bakhmut being sent into retreat after sustaining multiple casualties and being overrun.

Ukrainian sources claim the majority of Russian forces killed were Wagner mercenaries, but Russian VDV paratroopers are also occupying the flanks of Bakhmut, so it could be either or both.
