(NSFW) Ukrainians Appear to Execute Surrendering Russian Soldier

Footage recorded during an armored assault shows five minutes of combat footage that ends in what appears to be the execution of a Russian Soldier laying on his stomach.

According to the source that released this footage, the decision was made to shoot the Russian Soldier laying on the ground because he had an armed hand grenade pinned underneath of his body. From the video alone it's impossible to tell. Many Pro-Ukrainian sources have cut the end of this footage out and published it as just another piece of combat footage.

We'll likely never truly understand the context of the video. However, if the Russian was lying on top of a primed hand grenade, shooting him probably wouldn't be the safest course of action to prevent the grenade from going off, however it would leave his body on top of the device rendering it mostly safe in the event of a detonation.
