This short-duration clip shows a Ukrainian vehicle striking a mine. The exact time and location are unknown. The type of vehicle is unknown, but it appears light and is not an APC, IFV, or MRAP. The troops involved appear to be speaking English, perhaps American or Canadian, thus indicating that the unit is part of the Ukrainian Foreign Legion.

At the beginning of the clip, just as the vehicle begins to move, one of the occupants of the vehicle seems to ask who is yelling outside the vehicle, and as the vehicle begins to move the blast occurs, lifting the vehicle into the air and tossing the occupants, including the camera operator, onto the ground. One of the occupants can be seen lying prone and unmoving, though his exact condition is unknown. Another can be seen crawling from the vehicle, and the camera operator appears to be crawling from the burning wreckage.

This footage is a sobering example of the devastating violence of a mine strike, and of the disruptive effects of mines on the battlefield in Ukraine.
