A suspect attempting to make unlawful entry into an occupied residence is engaged and neutralized by Seal Beach PD Officers in California.

The primary officer makes contact with the suspect at 08 seconds. At 12 seconds, the suspect becomes noncompliant, demanding that the officer not use his flashlight to illuminate him. This noncompliance continues, despite repeated warnings from the officer for the suspect to show his hands. The officer continues to try to determine the reason for the suspect's presence and at 37 seconds, commands the suspect to come to him. At 56 seconds, the suspect approaches the officer but refuses to put his hands up or sit down. 1:12 shows the suspect walking away from the officer, returning his right hand to his jacket pocket while possibly providing derogatory sign language with his left. The suspect continues to ignore commands to show his hand, at which point, 1:18, the officer's partner warns the suspect that he will be tased. Two seconds later, at 1:20, the taser is deployed. The primary officer closes on the downed suspect. The taser ceases to cycle at 1:26, and the suspect fires at the primary officer with a handgun in his right hand. Firing a full magazine into the suspect, the officer conducts a magazine change at 01:34, again commanding the suspect to show his hands. The covering officer warns the suspect not to reach for the weapon. The primary officer confirms that his partner is uninjured, and calls for medical support at 01:51. The suspect asks him to "finish him off" at 01:52.
