(NSFW) Russians Work to Rescue Wounded Soldier in Firefight

Russian troops in direct contact with Ukrainian forces work to maneuver to and evacuate a wounded Russian Soldier in what appears to be eight minutes of raw genuine combat footage.

This is one of the rarest perspectives of the entire conflict. Since the start of the war between Russia and Ukraine, we have seen around ten genuine videos of combat footage coming from the Russian infantry's perspective, and a majority of that footage came from Hostomel airport. While we're not exactly sure where or when this footage was recorded, it's the first video evidence we have of Russian troops taking a casualty and working to rescue the wounded Soldier.

Up to this point, an overwhelming majority of the Russian infantry footage has been heavily ran through the hands of Russian Public Affairs Officers and media officials who have been trying to paint a very specific image. This video however is raw, uncut, and shows Russian Soldiers having a very human moment attempting to rescue one of their wounded. Say what you will about the Russians. All I see in this video are Russian boys trying to survive the situation their government placed them in. If more footage like this existed, we'd probably see more pushback from the Russian people.

If you wanted to visit Ukraine as a Russian in 2013, all you needed was a passport. Now you need a rifle and enlistment into the Russian military, and there's a good chance a memory like this will be seared into your brain housing group for the rest of your life.
