You're looking at one of those reality check videos. When people think about combat, the first images that flash through their mind generally come from iconic action war films like Saving Private Ryan, or Full Metal Jacket. Unfortunately, that's not what war looks like.

There's no saving period moments before death where you get to utter your last words to your closest friend. You don't walk through fields of wheat, happy before you breathe your last breath and pass on into a world of pure ecstasy.

Nope. It's like this. You get pushed back in a losing fight until there's nowhere to go and no way left to fight. Then, the enemy walks right up to you and shreds you with ammunition until your body's systems stop functioning and you die in a puddle of your own urine and blood, often screaming for your mother and in unimaginable pain.
