(NSFW) Russian Troops Abandon Dead Comrade with Wooden Logistics Truck

Published 9 months ago

Footage recorded by civilians after an alleged ambush by Ukrainian troops against a Russian logistics convoy shows one dead Russian Soldier left on the side of the road next to a truck armored in wood.

The footage you're looking at above was recorded by a group of civilians in Ukraine. It allegedly shows the aftermath of an ambush conducted by the Ukrainian military in an unknown part of Ukraine. The original source of the video did not state their location, because Ukrainian troops were still in the area and the Ukrainians are doing a great job of keeping Operational Security measures in place for their own troop movements.

It appears as if the target was a logistics convoy moving supplies towards an advancing Russian front-line. Judging from the vehicle's wooden up-armor, there's almost no way this vehicle was originally intended to be directly involved in combat operations. We can also tell that the dead Soldier on the ground is Russian due to the make-up of his equipment, and the red armband being worn around his upper bicep.

One thing that does stick out to me however is the coloration of the blood pooling underneath of the dead Russian Soldier. Normally, blood pooling underneath of someone who is dead has a slightly brighter color. That said, the Soldier could have been lying dead next to that vehicle for a while, giving the blood time enough to cool down and congeal in the winter conditions that this conflict is currently being fought in.

Something that is absolutely positive however is that this video will not go over well for Moscow. As protests continue to get larger in Russia, footage of dead, wounded, and captured Russians is the one thing that Putin can't afford right now.
