(NSFW) Police Open Fire On Outraged Employee Who Shot Up Warehouse

On August 3, 2021, Officers from the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department responded to the SmileDirectClub warehouse at the intersection of Antioch Pk & Franklin Limestone Rd, where a reported active shooter was unloading a firearm into the warehouse entrance.

The beginning segment, captured by a CCTV camera shows the moments the suspect, later identified as 22-year-old Antonio King, approached the warehouse, armed with a .45 caliber Glock. Within seconds of reaching the warehouse, King spots employees through the front windows and began firing an entire magazine into the building. Statements from the employees involved have said that King had no direct target, but was shooting at everyone and anything.

After shooting up the warehouse, officers from the MNPD arrived on the scene, where a short foot chase with King began. The second segment of the footage is from the body worn camera of officer Dylan Ramos. As multiple officers surrounded King, he was commanded numerous times to drop the weapon. Moving further down the side walk, King continued to ignore the officers commands. After commanding King one last time, King disregarded and raised his firearm toward the officers, causing an officer involved shooting.

Officer Ramos and one additional officer began taking several shots at King, striking him multiple times. With the suspects weapon now secured, officers immediately began providing King with medical aid until medical transport arrived on the scene. As a result, King wounded three employees which at this time, their condition is unknown. Antonio King was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his gun inflicted injuries.
