CCTV footage recorded just minutes before 1300 on March the 11th, shows a large, Russian explosive projectile impacting a busy city street in Kyiv.

After analyzing the footage, it is difficult to determine whether this was an impact or airburst explosive device; however in my personal opinion, it looks to be airburst. Watching the footage back several times, the explosion appears to occur nearly ten to twenty feet above the ground. The only condition to note, is the large pieces of debris falling from the sky moments after the explosion. This is why I believe it could have been some variant of an impact device that hit a billboard or sign.

A secondary observation to note is the nearby cyclist. Although the person appears fine at first, I would be willing to bet this individual sustained significant injuries, if not fatal injuries due to shrapnel. As designed, airburst explosive munitions disperse a large quantity of shrapnel to primarily cause as much damage to the surrounding area as possible.

I do however like to maintain my optimistic mindset and want to believe this individual ditched their bike to seek ground cover.
