Hamas released footage from a sniping operation in which an Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) soldier is hit squarely by an armor piercing incendiary (API) round and he catches fire.

The Hamas video producer edited in B-roll of the supposed marksman, and if the footage is actually from the event shown, then it would seem that the round was the massive .50 BMG.
