Let this video serve as your weekly reminder that war isn't fun. War isn't bad ass. War isn't cool. War isn't something you should glorify on Instagram or pretend makes you more awesome than people who haven't experienced it. War is real. War is dangerous. War ends and ruins lives at the cyclic rate faster than any other man man action on the planet.

It's sexy to hop on Instagram and post a bunch of videos of you training. It's cool to get out in the field and play at war like an operator in airsoft because there's no real price to be paid. At the end of the day though, it's cooler to never need your training. It's sexier to never spend a day of your life working on your dying friends as an enemy combatant is maneuvering on your position with a tank.

I think it's important to remember one of our primary objectives at Funker530 when videos like this pop up. War sucks. It's an absolute atrocity to send young men out into the fields of battle to kill one another. If at any point in time there is an alternative to fighting a war, that avenue should be taken at all costs.

If Funker530 becomes an irrelevant historical archive of combat footage instead of a relevant option for getting up to the minute updates on actual wars being fought around the world because people know how much war actually sucks, then we've done our jobs.
