(NSFW) Drone Captures Sniper Taking Down Russian Soldier

Published 3 weeks ago

Drone video released by Ukrainian forces captures the moment a Russian Soldier walking through rough terrain is taken down by a Ukrainian sniper.

It's clear from the video that the round directly impacted with the upper portion of the Russian Soldier as he was walking with a partner. What's unclear is the exact the round was traveling, and if the Russian Soldier was killed or just injured by the sniper's shot. We don't know where this one was filmed, but it's entirely possible that the Russian Soldier could have survived this encounter, either through the protection offered by his personal protective equipment, or from medical triage from the Soldier he was with.

Both of those survival scenarios however do involve the serviceability of the equipment and training of the two Russians. Neither of which we have too much faith in after recent videos from the region.
