Harrowing drone footage shows a Ukrainian soldier pinned down while trading small arms fire with Russian troops at close range. The Russian troops flank his bunker and approach unnoticed from the behind.

The lead Russian soldier moves to within inches of the Ukrainian soldier and notices his foe is reloading. He delivers a blow with his rifle barrel and then dives in to physically subdue the Ukrainian soldier.
