Brutal drone footage recorded near Bakhmut shows some of the most intense trench warfare that has been captured on camera to date.

This video starts with a pair of Ukrainian troops advancing towards a suspected Russian fighting position near Bakhmut. Unfortunately, almost out of the gate one of the two Ukrainian Soldiers is either killed or seriously injured and incapacitated from shrapnel from a Russian grenade when they confirm that the fighting position is in fact still occupied by a Russian Soldier.

What follows is several intense minutes of footage that shows the Russian and Ukrainian Soldier exchanging gunfire and grenades with each other. The footage concludes when the Ukrainian Soldier lands a grenade in the Russian's fighting position and follows it up by unloading an entire magazine into the fighting hole at point-blank range.
