Ukrainian forces used a bomb drone to bait a curious Russian soldier into close proximity of the explosive device before detonating and killing the intended target.

The FPV drone can be seen overtly flying into a Russian-occupied area and landing on a tower. The drone may have presented itself as an unarmed observation drone attempting to gain intel and save battery life by perching on the high point. It may have also given the appearance of a drone that lost connection with its controller.

Regardless of what incorrect assumption lead the Russian soldier to investigate, he does. He can be seen climbing the tower and grabbing the drone, at which point the Ukrainian pilot detonates the device. The Russian dies tangled in the ladder of the tower.
