(NSFW) Amazon Security Guard Tries To Kill His Boss, Gets Shot By Cops

This footage, provided by police agencies in Columbus, Ohio, shows the harrowing moment a security guard attempts to execute his supervisor at an Amazon distribution center. The shooter is later killed in a shootout with police. Viewer discretion is advised.

The footage begins with security camera feed from within the Amazon building. The suspect, Ali Hamsa Yusuf (22 years of age) walks behind his supervisor and produces a concealed handgun. Two important details here: Yusuf is not working there in an armed capacity, and his uniform suggests that Amazon contracted Securitas for security services.

Incredibly, Yusuf is able to rack the slide and chamber a round before the security supervisor notices... and then completely misses from feet away. The supervisor is able to flee as Yusuf's weapon appears to malfunction. Yusuf is shown exiting the building in a comparatively calm manner.

At 01:17, we see the police catching up with Yusuf. He exits his vehicle and opens fire, striking one of the officers as they return fire and exit the vehicle. The officer is hit in his vest but he and his partners succeed in downing Yusuf. At 01:32, we see the incident from the perspective of the officer who got shot. While he radios that he's been hit, other officers effect the arrest and render aid. Possibly due to the adrenaline, the officer seems to dither a bit in deciding how to get to the hospital. The officer was released without serious injury, whereas Yusuf was pronounced dead upon arrival.
