Video of a modernized Ukrainian T-64 Bulat has surfaced today showing the tank engaging Russian positions from the Ukrainian side of what they're now calling a "No Man's Land."

What's more important than this video itself is the fact that the term no man's land is no freely being used in Ukraine. A no man's land is generally called when two opposing forces are completely incapable of maneuvering through a piece of terrain between them. When a situation like this occurs, wars themselves start to become incredibly drawn out conventional affairs that can last years without either side managing to take an inch of ground.

For additional context on the video however, the modernized T-64 Bulat seen in this video was first introduced to the Ukrainian military in 1999. They're outfitted with a modern auto-loading system and explosive reactive armor kits that make them more survivable in modern combat. Outfitted with a 125mm smoothbore gun, the maximum effective range of the cannon on the T-64 Bulat is 2,500m during daylight and up to 1,500m at night.
