A group of up-armored humvees assaults a Russian position somewhere near Kherson. This is the exact type of mission the humvee was designed for.

While not a lot of context currently exists for this video, it's interesting to watch the humvee finally do its thing. In Iraq and Afghanistan these vehicles caught a lot of flak for not being up to the task of defeating improvised explosive devices, and as a result they received a lot of blowback from the GWoT generation. At the end of the day however, the humvee was never designed to deal with improvised explosive devices. It was designed to sprint forward overland across short distances to engage enemy positions with machine gun fire in a mobile assault force, exactly like we're seeing in this video.
