MiG-15 Destroyed by F-86 Sabre Over Korea in 1952

Footage recorded from the nose-camera of a North American F-86 Sabre flown by an American pilot during the Korean war shows the successful shoot-down of a MiG-15. This video was recorded on September 4th 1952.

Believe it or not, the F-86 Sabre and the MiG-15 were theoretically well matched against one another in the air. This video just happens to show an instance of the North American F-86 Sabre getting the upper-hand in a dogfight and shooting down the enemy MiG-15.

For the purpose of context, this video was filmed on September 4th 1952 over Korea.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be looking for the real blog post down in the comments from one of our DCS gamers who's probably recreated this specific dogfight a hundred times.
