One of the most incredible videos to come out of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) shows a team of Marines become the target of a Taliban sniper, and one of them survives a direct hit to the helmet unscathed.

Based on the video, the sniper must have been watching the Marines for a considerable period and predicted that they would peak out from a narrow opening. He was waiting for that shot to present itself. The round whizzes past the lead Marine's head and strikes the man behind him.

The Marines fall back to the relative safety of the inner compound and assess what just happened. They thank their lucky stars and make the wise decision relocate before their luck runs out.
