Man Pulls Revolver Against Officers And Gets Killed (NSFW)

Officer body camera footage released by the Citrus Heights Police Departments, shows the moments police engaged in an officer involved shooting with a revolver wielding suspect back in January 2022.


At approximately 9 p.m. on January 13th, officers arrived near a Carl’s Jr. restaurant in the area of Antelope and Tupelo roads after a 9-1-1 caller indicated a man armed with a handgun and brass knuckles was outside. When officers arrived, they attempted to talk with the man, who then pointed the gun at an officer. The officer then fired, striking the man multiple times with his service weapon.


Officers rendered life-saving medical aid to the suspect until EMS arrived on scene. The man was later identified as 30-year-old Citrus Heights resident Alexander Joseph Bogusz. Despite his medical treatment, Bogusz died several days later from in injuries.


No officers were injured during this incident.
