A lone cop foiled an armed criminal heist on a money courier truck in Rustenburg, South Africa on Oct. 8, 2020.

Police received a tip on when and where the heist would be taking place and sent undercover officers to the area. They caught the robbery taking place, which rapidly turned into a shootout between the officers and several thugs. Multiple officers were wounded at the scene and the robbers fled the scene.

A lone cop gave chase and soon had several of the suspects pinned down in a gun battle. He wounded five of them and killed another. Th following video shows some of the shootout as well as aftermath footage showing burning wreckage and loose cash on the ground.
