The quad copters identify hot spots with thermal and focus on them with conventional cameras, locating TM-62 anti-tank mines. Early on in Ukraine’s offensive the Ukrainian Army suffered significant losses in dense Russian minefields, and observers offered substantial criticism regarding Ukraine’s failure to adequately clear obstacle belts. This footage demonstrates an innovative approach to mapping minefields in order to identify lanes and breach Russian obstacle belts, thus mitigating losses.
