Legion of Russia Moves to Join Ukrainian Forces on the Front

Published April 30, 2022

The Legion of Russia has recently released a video showing their troops lining up for transport to the front-lines. They are a volunteer unit of Russians fights for Ukraine against Russia.

A recent release from the Legion of Russia shows Russian fighters on the side of Ukraine loading up in their vehicles to be transported to the front-lines in the fight against Russian forces. The men in this unit are entirely made up of Russian nationals. The flag they can be seen wearing is their vision for a new Russian flag, free of the representation of blood-shed.

While it's unclear exactly where these volunteers come from inside of Russia, they are speaking clear and perfect Russian throughout the video, and have been training with Ukrainian forces for the last two months. A rough translation of the video is simple. The guy at the front of the formation is telling them that they'll be moving to the front-lines in Eastern Ukraine, and that they should keep their weapons in condition 1 as soon as they get on the busses. He then asks them to get on the busses for transportation.
