Russian thermal drone footage shows a platoon-sized element of approximately 30 Ukrainian soldiers infiltrating down a wood line when they come under repeated accurate artillery fire. While camouflage and proven infantry movement techniques remain a critical component of combat soldiering, constant technological advances like drones with thermal imaging capabilities significantly decreases the success rate of conducting a surprise maneuvers on enemy forces.
