Kamikaze Drone Targets Unknown Vehicle in Ukraine

Video from Ukraine that's circulating on Instagram, Telegram, and Twitter today seems to be something of a mystery. This video is lacking so much context that we don't even know which side originally released it.

Here is one of the larger problems with the war in Ukraine. There are so many people aggregating content from multiple sources that footage like this comes from the original source and rapidly loses the plot. Today, I've seen this video published by both sides of the aisle with both the Russians and the Ukrainians claiming credit for killing an enemy vehicle with an FPV drone.

As a result, the context is completely lost. More than likely, we're looking at a Ukrainian FPV drone, as the Russians have relied heavily on their professionally made Lancet drones to carry out strikes of this type whereas the Ukrainian have been relying on heavily modified commercial and racing drones. The GUI of the drone and the fact that we can see the front two blades of what is clearly a quad-copter also indicates that we're not looking at a Russian Lancet.

I have repeated and slowed down the clip in the end to give some of our armor ID nerds the ability to really give this video a hard look. I'm sure one of you guys will be able to help identify the vehicle being struck which will in turn help piece together the reality of the footage. That slow down can probably also help some of those Google Maps savants who like to geo-locate video content which can also help us figure out where this was recorded.
