Ukrainian forces carried out a successful loiter munition (suicide drone) attack on the Russian Black Sea Fleet headquarters building in Sevastopol on the occupied Ukrainian Crimean peninsula.

Multiple video angles show the kamikaze drone in flight, the strike, and a plume of smoke billowing from the building. Reports suggested that Russian air defenses attempted to shoot it down, but the various videos' audio suggests small arms fire was being futile shot at the unmanned explosive aircraft.

Russian officials claimed there were no casualties in the strike, which is possible as the drone itself is of limited payload. The Ukrainian operation was effective in demonstrating the Ukrainian's ability to strike deep into Russian-held territory, as this was the third high profile attack in Crimea in recent days.
