Footage coming out of Gaza today shows a new Israeli infantry unit being employed against Hamas. The unit, which is a conventional Israeli infantry group established around four years ago with organic small drone capabilities, was employed for the very first time in this footage.

They have already destroyed dozens of Hamas rocket launch sites and missile emplacements inside of Gaza, and they have been successfully utilized to eliminate several small pockets of Hamas fighters. Since being deployed to Gaza, the unit has also been heavily utilized by adjacent units to conduct reconnaissance support operations.
