Israel Develops POINT BLANK Missile For US SOF

Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) demonstrated a prototype version of their hand-launched "Point Blank" vertical take off/landing loitering munition style missile that is now under contract with the US Department of Defense to be fielded by US special operations troops.

The Pentagon has designated the weapon system the "ROC-X" and footage shows that the unit can fly and operate in multiple configurations, ranging from seek-and-destroy to an upright hovering action for reconnaissance. Interestingly, the system can return to the operator and is caught by hand. Additional specs, including loiter time, maximum distance and altitude, and payload remain a mystery.
