Islamic State Central African Province Film Raid On Military Base

Unconfirmed video reportedly shows an Islamic State Central Africa Province (ISCAP) raid being carried out on a military base in the vicinity of Beni in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in December 2020. Although other unconfirmed reports on social media claim the footage is from an ISCAP raid in Mozambique in the same time frame.

What we can ascertain from the video is that the militants are likely Islamist due to their repetitive Takbir chants. Their tactics include the use of child soldiers and a massive volume of gunfire before they reach their objective to scare their skittish adversaries away before a fight even takes place. The routed troops will likely retake the area using the same technique.
