As technology advances, cameras get smaller. As cameras get smaller, they keep finding new and interesting ways onto the battlefield. For the past decade, some of the best combat footage that has been recorded was filmed on a Soldier's cellular phone. This is an example of that happening.

He feels his unit is relatively safe in their current position, so he decides to bust out his cellphone and take a selfie video while he is sitting on top of a vehicle. Next thing he knows, an SVBIED detonates directly next to his unit. Fortunately, it appears that he survived the situation.
