CCTV footage coming out of Mykolaiv captures the moment a Russian ballistic missile finds and destroys its target. It's unclear if the Russians had an intended target for this strike.

According to officials in Mykolaiv, it's unclear what the Russians were attempting to target with this strike package. In total, three ballistic missiles were fired at the city, and all three of them impacted with non-essential infrastructure and non-military targets.

"I cannot think of any explanation for this shelling, as none of the military objects or warehouses were hit," Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych said in an interview with CNN. "Critical infrastructure and objects in the vicinity to the civilians were hit. Luckily, there are no casualties."
