Historic footage recorded during the Vietnam War shows a mixed section of rotary wing assets destroying multiple Vietcong targets in support of ground combat operations.

It's not every day we get aviation footage from the last century that is this crystal clear. Yeah, I said last century, we're going to have to start accepting the fact rotary wing assets have been chewing up bad guys for almost 70 years now, and also that we have recorded footage of them doing so that is close to 100 years old.

I always get asked about Vietnam combat footage when I talk to you guys on Facebook or Instagram, so here's a little bit of that good stuff. We haven't had too much time to post it lately due to the current state of the world, but today I felt like we needed to get a little bit of it out there.
