Houthi Rebels Overrun and Capture Saudi Abrams Main Battle Tank

Video coming out of Yemen in 2018 captures the moment a group of Houthi rebels overruns and captures a Saudi Abrams Main Battle Tank. Shortly after capturing the armored behemoth, they set it on fire from the inside.

While I've certainly done my fair share of talking up the combat capabilities and power of the Abrams Main Battle Tank, let this video serve as a reminder that it is indeed always the violinist and never the violin. A well trained tank crew could have held off a Houthi assault almost indefinitely. This poorly trained Saudi tank crew however was overrun by just a few dudes with rifles.

If you're unfamiliar with the on-going conflict in Yemen, I highly recommend hitting the search bar in the top right and searching for the terms "Houthi" or "Yemen."
