Video reportedly shows a Houthi SAMAD "Kamikaze drone" loitering munition exploding in Yemen. It's not clear whether the drone was shot out of the sky before reaching its destination, or if it was prematurely detonated by the pilot.

The SAMAD family of drones is unauthentically presented as an organic Houthi technological development, and they are named after Houthi leader Saleh al-Sammad, who was assassinated in a United Arab Emirates drone strike. In reality, the SAMAD series of drones are an Iranian-developed asset laundered to the Houthis under the guise of Houthi weapons development.
